Sans is the most popular character in Undertale. That's a vague but main reason he annoys the living crap out of me.
Okay, for some simple actual reasons.
One, there are other characters in Undertale besides Sans! I always loved Papyrus far more than Sans, with his desire to become someone important, but... the fandom sees him as a spaghett-loving loser. Or Undyne, the badass fish guard. Or perhaps Asgore, who is the most hated character just because he gets in the way of Soriel, a ship I hated in the first place.
Two, the popularity he gets in the AUs! I always see the utter popularity of Underfell and Underswap's Sans but... nobody else! And Error Sans as well! It's all him! And have you seen all of the shit Underswap Sans gets?! That's Sans with Papyrus's personality but noooo he isn't shown as a spaghetti-loving loser, is he?! Disbelief Papyrus, the result of Papyrus becoming as powerful as Sans and no longer believing that Frisk is a good person (and, in the whole game, he believes in the player's good side), never gets any credit. You have less than twenty badass pictures and a few battles, but... that's it. Sans gets all of the shit.
Finally, everybody thinks he's so FUCKING powerful just because he's the final boss or whatever. Somebody actually thinks he could kill Deadpool, and mind you, Deadpool is cursed to never see Death. So... no. I took a lot of pleasure from reading his fights against Jotaro Kujo, Spinal, Drakath, and especially my favorite beast SCP-682. He is actually the weakest character as well. So no, I don't really like Sans anymore thanks to the utter awesome shit he gets.

Of all the chars in UT, Sans is the closest to one that I actually hate or at least dislike.
